Title: Report
Fandom: FFX-2
Rating: G
Wordcount: 200
Characters: Clasko, Nooj
Pairings: see below
Spoilers: very minor, for Clasko in FFX-2
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] rabbitprint, who requested Nooj/Clasko with a prompt of catsuit. (In October. Yes, I know I fell way behind on these. But look, proof that I'm still working on them!) Whether this is what he had in mind, I don't know, but this is what happened. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bottle_of_shine for a hint.

"A giant black-and-white cat? You're certain?"

Reporting to the Meyvn always made Clasko nervous, even though Nooj didn't seem to mind that he'd left the Youth League without permission. "Yes sir. On the Calm Lands. I saw it kill a pack of fiends. Then the Celsius landed and it ran up the gangplank."

"I see." Nooj went quiet, and Clasko shifted onto his other foot. It sounded so trivial, but he had been asked to mention any unusual goings on. Did a Gullwing in a cat suit qualify? Probably. The silence stretched out, and his mind wandered; he wondered if the Meyvn could still mount a chocobo, and what he would look like riding one across the plains, the muscles of his good leg taut against the yellow flank, long hair flowing in the... where had that thought come from? Clasko squashed the image and hoped he wasn't blushing.

"Well," Nooj finally said. "Probably a new dressphere. No matter, as long as New Yevon doesn't get it first. Anything else?" Clasko shook his head, and Nooj dismissed him with a wave. "Thank you, that will be all."

Clasko saluted, then escaped the Mevyn's office, free until his next monthly visit.

Not just you. The way he was always fidgeting? Yeah. Pairing fic with Clasko is always amusing. Once past my first "gah, how am I supposed to write *this*?!" reaction, I definitely had fun with it.

Aw, man, you mean I had another word? ;) Oh well. Thanks for the catch, I very much appreciate having stuff like that pointed out to me.
