Probably stating the obvious, but I think a lot of the problem is that Barry has been SO GOOD that he has camouflaged the mediocrity of the rest of the team. They have gambled on a short-term plan to maximize their chances in his last couple years, and this year that gamble clearly didn't pay off. I wish I felt like they had a plan besides that - somebody has to convince Brian Sabean to stop giving away top draft picks on purpose, f'real.

At least you've got a beautiful ballpark to go to! At least from what I hear - I've only been to Candlestick, in April a few years back, and I still haven't really warmed up. :)
