just when you think you've seen everything

We had first dress tonight for this weekend's concerts, and the baritone soloist for one of the pieces brought his dog to rehearsal. The dog yipped once, then curled up beneath the guy's chair and sat peacefully during the rest of the piece. It didn't appear to be a service dog of any kind, just a pet. Very strange.
