Well, my phone voice is rather different from my "real" voice -- I picked up the habit of modulating my tone back in my secertarial days and now I shift into "phone voice" without even thinking about it.

But maybe phone posts are just like that. Almost no one ever sounds like how I would imagine them sounding. :)
