How delicately and how excellently you have told this. The 'fade to black' works perfectly here. I do not think I could have borne to read of their activities for some reason.

Your imagery is so pin-point from the evocation of the poet's moon to the memory of his hands on her body that I felt myself holding my breath. My goodness, you do fashion your little miracles from the most unlikely materials.

This is as fragile as a Japanese paper flower and as unexpectedly lovely.
