Since I am a long-time subscriber to the actual newspaper of record, the charge did not affect me. However, yes, I did note when they stopped and was glad of it. Everyone should have access to their extraordinary archives and be able to read the current Paul Krugman and Frank Rich columns. They are voices of sanity in this increasingly chaotic world.
