When, at the end of the last episode of Season 3, Kate told Jack that she had to get back to "him", I assumed she meant Sawyer, although I was open to other interpretations.
I never thought that she might be referring to a child, and that child might be her son, although I figured that out about 2/3rds of the way through tonight's episode.
Learning that the son was Aaron? Completely blew my mind.
But I wonder, then, why all the drama with Jack outside the courthouse, if it's not some tension-laden baby who's either his child or Sawyer's.
Answers, I need answers! Or at least people who are willing to speculate wildly with me...
So, yeah. This season? Totally sucking me in. Totally.
