I don't know if you know that Tad Williams is AE's brother? He & his wife are local. I used to see them occasionally when G & A & I would hang out.

Anyway, if I'd known you wanted a recommendation, I'd have offered one up! I enjoyed it, too. I also like his first trilogy. I've not read any of his titles since then.
