Thanks, I'm glad you like this! I paid a lot of attention to setting details here, and to the relationship between Ashe and Basch (and while they aren't my primary FFXII 'ship, or even my primary Ashe 'ship, I find their possibilities really intriguing). So I'm glad those things showed through.

Ashe is getting to be my favorite FFXII character to write. I would never have guessed it, but maybe it's not too surprising.
