I did follow the saga of Ry's car, which seems to have reached a successful conclusion at least, but still. The more I consider it, the more I think that holding off as much as I can is the right thing to do. I may pull together vignettes here and there (I already have one written for Fourteen that I absolutely love) but the serious writing can wait.

That is exactly the tricky part I mentioned, the part that I must get just right. Their entire relationship falls apart if I don't. And I so love where you have taken them that I really need to make it work from Paine's side as well. I have the segment drafted, and I think the concept succeeds at its core; now I just need to make sure I convey it properly.
As soon as I declare Eleven done, I do plan to post it -- I'm always in danger of over-tweaking if I let a piece sit around too long. After that, we'll see where matters stand.
