Having fine, slick hair is one of the banes of my existence. There's really not much one can do with it, although I've found a good cut helps. I have idly considered cutting it off, but it's been long for so many years that the very idea puts me into a sort of panic.

I haven't seen "The Lion in Winter" but I know the 'do you're talking about. It is rather like that.
