I also have fine hair. I got a perm when I was 12 and it only stayed in for about 2 days- my hair is just too thin to support it. It's kind of annoying right now- not really long (I'm trying to grow it out), but not really short either. Meaning I really can't do much of anything with it. I've been considering getting it all cut off and having a boy haircut (but still nice-looking), but I don't think I have the guts to do it :)
