Thanks! Doing getyourwordsout turned out to be exactly the motivator I needed to get and keep myself writing. Having the monthly goal posts is good, too, but something about making a commitment to an outside source has really worked for me.

I've never kept track of wordcounts before, but I am certain that I'm far ahead of any year since 2006, which was the last time I wrote an epic (and since it was co-written, only half of that was even mine). I must admit, it's pretty satisfying to know that I can still write long when I put my mind to it.
