I actually agree wholeheartedly - and am glad that someone has put words to my feelings on this! - about WIPs and 'community' work and stuff like that. Since getting more involved in fandom I've written a lot more than I ever would have planned or thought possible *g*, but because of that community rush I often get caught up in memes or exchanges or challenges/claims/whatnot and -- there's a lot of other stuff in my head that I'd like to write, too.
