The Golden Gate Bridge is a glorious marvel of architecture in a stunning setting, and I still feel a little bit of awe every time I drive over it. "Am I really just using this amazing thing for boring ordinary transportation?" I have come, though, to be very fond of the Bay Bridge, too, in all its various moods.
