I like these thoughts, although I still think that because they failed to create selection criteria, the authors are totally within their rights to request themselves removed (even if they aren't and won't be) and disavow the list itself.
I have never seen a posted list get this much traction so fast. Hilariously, last year when that Top #100 YA list was posted and was white white white and heterosexist, no one batted an eye. WHERE IS MY CONTROVERSY, BOOK FANDOM.
On plus side, maybe more folks will read Tender Morsels now. :D
