Interesting that the advertising sold it as more of an adventure game, when it's pretty solidly a JRPG. I didn't pay much attention to the previews, because I loved FFX so much that I would have played any sequel they gave me. >.> I can certainly understand disappointment from frustrated expectations.
I have this idea that we've talked about your issue with not being able to get completion points without a walkthrough before. I'm like you, I poke into nooks and crannies, and I think I got something like 75% the first time around, and I know there are some key things I missed. Have you ever replayed, or were you too frustrated by this weakness in gameplay?
