I agree with the above. Utterly, just, wow.

I've never yet read a story dealing with this that I liked, or that felt real. This was both. Actually I think it's now canon in my head. It's one of the most realistic Alistairs I've ever read. And Morrigan's, come to that; the black widow exchange was classic.
