I don't think we've had anything bigger than a 5 or 6 in the Bay Area since the Loma Priata, actually, which means we're probably due. Scientists have been nervously eying the Hayward Fault for awhile now; let's hope all these smallish quakes are releasing pressure rather than building up to something bigger!
