Like how I let you believe what you wanted when we were talking about Babish-Miers?

I think he did it to protect CJ. And I don't think we've seen the last of him. Clearly, given the foreshadow at the beginning of the season, he lands on his feet. Given the current political environment, I think the writers want us to see how this kind of investigation and trial should go.

And I felt so bad for CJ. At the end of the episode, as Toby was escorted out of the building, I realized that she's all alone now. Everyone who started with her (save the President) is gone. But I am glad that we're going to get to see more of Will.
