I can't believe I never thought of Kinoc seeking Auron in the Farplane, but it makes perfect sense as gap-filling. You've presented it so believably, so in character, that it feels like canon, especially the fact that Kinoc's not sure whether Auron's angry with him. Theirs was obviously a genuine but complicated friendship.
And I hadn't considered that Kinoc might know the whole story of the Final Summoning. It certainly puts an interesting (and perhaps slightly less power-hungry) twist on his attempt to gain control of Vegnagun .
