Oooh interesting, I'd never really thought of that. But you're right, it is odd that the Guado were not a part of Yevon, and yet they were the guardians of one of Yevon's most sacred sites. Which adds fascinating implications to Jyscal being a maester -- maybe they cut some sort of deal. Hmmmm.
