It is useful to know, yeah, although it doesn't alleviate my worries entirely. Presumably Tumblr has always had a takedown policy, and sometimes things get caught by it. I mostly worry that the acquisition makes the site higher-profile and therefore more likely to attract the notice of big media copyright holders.
