Heh! Yeah, the switch was telegraphed by the narrative, but I don't mind that so much -- a lot of this show is classic tropes well-executed, and I'm fine with that.
I'll just say that I really enjoyed it for several reasons.
I'm happy to hear that, especially considering that we have similar feelings about dubcon stuff. (If he sleeps with AU Olivia without knowing the truth? For me, at least, it would cross the dubcon line, at the least. I got seriously squidgy when he just kissed her on the steps of the Capitol.)
One of the prompts on my current trope bingo card is "doppleganger + chosen family", so you can imagine the places where my mind is going. I need to watch more show, first, see how the whole thing plays out. But the bunnies are biting, and not just for Peter/Olivia but also for his relationship with Walter. Something that I really loved in an earlier episode, was when Peter almost kissed Olivia, and then later said that he really liked the family thing that the two of them and Walter have going, and how he doesn't want to mess that up. So, yeah. All kinds of ideas and emotions around that one!
