Oh yes I got those which is one reason I want to have at least one character who he dislieks enough to rant at :) My first character was a dwarf who tried to be friends with everyone and mostly succeeded. My second character is a Dalish elf who had a bit of a thing for Solas (they dated briefly until he got too annoying and she dumped him) and is still good friends with him. But I have high hopes for character 3, currently planned to be a very pro Chantry qunari mage.
