I just... I had VISIONS, you know? Of Steve and Sam working together to chase down Bucky and take down HYDRA, and the return of the Red Skull, and all these other things that would have been thematically appropriate for Steve's character arc. The Russo brothers will be back, and I do trust them to understand Steve and his journey, but it's still depressing.
