Chocolate for reading books sounds like an excellent reward, especially since I would have been reading the books anyway. :) The one I remember is Book It!, which was a cross promotion with Pizza Hut. You got a gift certificate for free pizza every time you read a certain number of books (or maybe it was pages). I pretty much cleaned up on that one.
