Latinx Book Bingo

I was pointed in the direction of the Latinx Book Bingo reading challenge, timed to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month, by [twitter.com profile] bookish_di, and it immediately appealed to me. An excuse to buy some books, read more broadly, and discover new authors of color in one fell swoop? Plus, I can count State Tectonics by Malka Older, which came out last Tuesday, toward the goal? Sign me up!

The aforementioned order, from Powell's (because I like to support Powell's, and I had an old $10 gift card that I'd forgotten about) arrived on Thursday, just in time for the challenge to start today. It's a combination of recs from Bookish Wanderess, one of the co-sponers of the challenge, friends, and books that have been on my long-term TBR. My haul, from top to bottom:

A stack of books, titles listed below

Half Resurrection Blues by Daniel Jose Older: On-cover representation
Signs Preceding the End of the World by Yuri Herrera: Refugee/immigrant story
The Regional Office is Under Attack! by Manuel Gonzales: SF/F
Labyrinth Lost by Zorida Cordova: Bisexual main character
When the Moon was Ours by Anne Marie McLemore: Magical realism

State Tectonics isn't pictured because it was a pre-order and therefore shipped separately (and hasn't arrived yet); it will most likely be my Free Space book. As you can see, this reading list doesn't resolved into a traditional bingo, so right now I'm just hoping to read as many as I can, starting with Labyrinth Lost. If anyone has recs to fill out a row or line, let me know! Also if anyone else is participating or interested, let me know, that, too. I also have hopes of reviewing as many as I can here, so keep an eye out for that.
