There's a new staging of Miss Saigon (By Cameron Mackintosh, who did an extraordinary version of Phantom of the Opera) in Chicago, and I honestly knew nothing about it, but walking past the posters I was just like "I wonder how cringe-worthy this is in the modern era?"

Interesting to have an answer.
