:) California wasn't at all solid blue in 1992 (the transition from swing state was actually just starting around then), and I wanted to be able to vote for the state propositions. And I also needed to keep my California residency in case I ever wanted to go to grad school. But if I were a college student in PA NOW, you bet i'd change my voter registration for the duration.

Same here with having enough polling precincts that there are rarely lines. The only time I remember standing in a line of any length was 2008, when I needed to arrive just as the polls opened. The mood was really upbeat that day. I wonder how it will be tomorrow.
