Family and Spiderverse
My brother is here overnight (we're giving him a ride to a family event tomorrow), and we fed him dinner and showed him Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, which he had not seen. I know I've re-watched bits and pieces of it many times, but it may be only the second or third time that I've re-watched the entire thing beginning to end. I can't think of another film that has more rewarded multiple watchings. There are so many tiny bits and Easter eggs and throw-away lines that there's no hope of catching them all the first time through. My favorite of the things I never noticed before: when Peter Parker is discussing the danger posed by the accelerator, he says that he's not going to let Brooklyn be swallowed by a black hole. "Maybe Staten Island."
