Monday Media Musings: 09/06/21

Arrowverse update: I look a bit of a break from these shows -- the last time I posted about them was in early May, and I think I watched through about the end of May - up to whatever week was the Supergirl midseason finale. I think I mentioned that I was a bit impatient with the constant "Kara almost gets out of the Phantom Zone but not quite" plots, so then when Legends of Tomorrow was running almost the exact same big picture plot with Sara's kidnapping, and I don't even remember what was going on in The Flash but it wasn't really holding my interest either, and Superman & Lois was on a break, and so anyway I watched through the Supergirl midseason finale and then wandered off for awhile. But I was inspired on Saturday to check in, and I got as far as noticing that Supergirl seems to have recently started up its final run. So I watched the most two recent episodes. I'm glad Kara is rescued for real, this plot with Dreamer and Nixle can't be going anywhere good, and if Alex and Kelly don't adopt that adorable little alien girl by the end of the series, I'll be very surprised. I'll catch up on Superman & Lois next and then probably Legends, but I'm not sure about The Flash. Anyone else watch the most recent season? How was it?
