I'm at exactly the same point as you: right before the endgame and cleaning up the sidequests. Poor Varl. He was so sweet.

I actually said "Your plan sucks." (If anyone here remembers that reference, please let me know I'm not alone.)

Is it Final Fantasy X-2, by any chance?
