Okay. Let's do this thing. The post for the Dragon Age Kiss Battle is here, and it will open to prompts and fanworks tomorrow morning my time.

Consider this the official promotion request post, and the place to ask questions, and to watch me vibrate with nerves because I've never run a fandom project like this before on my own. >.> Also, if anyone with graphic skills wanted to make a promotional banner or something, I would be all over that because I have no design ability whatsoever.

Crossposting note: Because of LJ's recent changes to the comment system, and because the idea of running two simultaneous battles is pretty daunting, I will only be doing this project on the Dreamwidth side. Sorry to anyone for whom this poses a serious issue. One tiny suggestion - you might want to change your layout temporarily? It's a little hard to see/notice the subject lines in this one, especially since they switch sides from one to the other. At least, it is for me, but I may just not be tracking well today. ;)

Ack, meant to reply to this yesterday, and it got away from me! I have thought about advertising on non-DA comms, yes; and that's a good suggestion. Do you know of other good places?

You might check out fandomcalendar, although I am not sure about their policies on ongoing things. Other than that... hm. Not many general gaming comms on DW, really. The only one I really know of is a_gamer_is_me and that's not very active. Lots of members, though,so it might be worth a shot.
