Any kind of kiss is welcome -- het, slash, femslash; shippy, familial, gen; cheek kisses, mouth kisses, kissing of... other things; serious, fluffy, silly, or all three at once; fanfic, fanart, whatever you come up with; anything goes!

Update: The post is now open! The post will open to prompts and comments at approximately 9AM Pacific Time, Thursday February 7th (Click here for the time in your timezone). I don't anticipate closing it, so come by any time!

To leave a request: Post a comment with a pairing (or moresome) and, if desired, a prompt. Put the pairing/characters in the subject line and the prompt in the body of the comment.

To respond: Reply to the prompting comment. Include characters, rating, and title in the subject line.

There is no limit to the number of prompts you can post.

"That's absurd!"

Merrill set her glass down and look hurt, the kind of wounded expression only someone with her large, expressive eyes can get away with. "Are you doubting what I saw? Because I saw it, with my own eyes."

Isabela cast a stern glare at Aveline, who raised an eyebrow back at her. "Sorry, kitten," Isabela said. "I believe you. It just seems, so-- out of character."

Merrill shook her head. "All I know is what I saw, and that was Varric, canoodling by the fireplace with a woman. A striking woman, with shiny blue eyes and dark hair like Hawke's, and a giant eyeball on her chest."

"But-- that's a Seeker. A Chantry high inquisitor. Why would Varric-- and a human?" Aveline almost sputtered. "I don't doubt you, it's just... unbelievable."

"Unbelievable," Isabela agreed, and then leaned forward with a smile. "Unbelievably juicy. Like something out of Varric's own stories. Tell us more."

"Well." Merrill looked from side to side, then lowered her voice with a conspiratorial smile. "I shouldn't be spreading gossip, I suppose. But it can't hurt to tell you what he told me..."

And a few steps away, listening in from the stairway, screened by some carefully chosen plants. Varric couldn't help a smile of his own. His new protege was doing him proud.

Ha! The thought of Merrill telling a tale like this to Aveline and Isabela is far too funny. ;D

(Although, if Merrill is Varric's new protege, is she starting her stories with "No shit, there I was" ?!?!!)

Not at all. Varric would be the first to tell you that the tale changes to fit the storyteller. ;) I imagine that her shtick is more like "It was a Thursday-- or maybe Wednesday? I can never keep track of the human days. I know it was the day I saw a templar playing with a kitten in the market..."

Yes, that is definitely how she starts her stories. I think this wants to become a running gag in any fic that features Merrill.

Hopefully Hahren Paivel is proud of Merrill's new vocation. ;D
