Is that even a real song?

[identity profile] grue23.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
yes it is. :) I just looked it up to make sure I wasn't making it up.

[identity profile] letters-to-ed.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
1. PSA - REM

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
That's the band but not the title, at least not the title I know it by.

[identity profile] letters-to-ed.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry! I thought PSA was the title. It's called Bad Day

[identity profile] grue23.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:06 am (UTC)(link)

d. Take It To The Limit - Eagles

[identity profile] grue23.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
That's a really sneaky math tie-in.

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't it?

I don't really have any good geek icon, hmm.

[identity profile] letters-to-ed.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
e. Love Plus One - Haircut 100

[identity profile] helianthemum.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
And as always, I get the recent Sting song... #2 is "Perfect Love... Gone Wrong," a love song written from the point of view of a dog and including French rap. Oh, Sting.

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
The French rap I knew about, of course; hard to miss. But I didn't realize that it was from the POV of a dog. The things you learn!

[identity profile] helianthemum.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
7 - Plastic or Paper by The Bobs!

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Woo hoo! You've closed out the meme! :)

[identity profile] helianthemum.livejournal.com 2006-03-01 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
That was a tricky one - I only have it on an old tape that I copied from someone in, oh, 1993. But the number of bands that would write a lyric like that is small, and disproportionately represented in my music collection. :)
