Morning 'mews-ments

We've figured out that the cats, Tori especially, prefer stuffed toys that they can really sink teeth and claws into. So a few days ago we bought this pack of overstuffed mousies. This morning I woke up to find one of them disembowled at the top of the stairs, shrunk to about a third of its original size, batting guts everywhere. Now Tori is trying to dig it out of the trash. When she's not sitting on my desk, watching the bubbles rise in my glass of fizzy water with rapt fascination. Silly kitty.

I learned that the hard way. When I see their stuffed toys getting worn out, I always have to buy a replacement and douse it in catnip to distract the kitties from the fact that other one they just broke in is missing. Kitties are such characters! :D
