Thank you so very much. Unaccustomed as I am to such an outpouring of good wishes and affection from so many, I am at a loss as to how to react. However, i think I may safely say that this day will be sweet and wonderful as I move in the golden aura of my friends' tributes. ;)

I think GIP = Gratuitous Icon Post is the grandparent meme, and that's all over the internets. I don't know who had the bright idea to change the I to accomodate other uses - probably many people had the idea separately. :)
