Walking back home from the car tonight, I passed a MUNI bus that was out of service. Its destination?

"Nowhere in Particular"

No camera, alas. I'll have to keep my eye out in the future.

I had it, and I thought about whipping it out, but it is pretty much useless in the dark.

Googling gives me the impression that "nowhere in particular" means wherever the passengers want to go, a la SuperShuttle.
