Burning question

Getting ready to pack, so of course I check the weather reports for New York and Baltimore. We have the usual East Coast weather whiplash going on -- in the 70s tomorrow, then down to the 50s by Friday. Naturally. And it claims no serious threat of rain, but of course we all know how far we can trust that. So basically, I need to be prepared for anything and everything. Wonderful.

It all comes down to one question, really: do I have to bring real shoes? (Please say no.)

As a Maryland native, I suggest at least one pair of "real" shoes because the weather is ridiculous ^_^; But I'm paranoid! So perhaps my advice should be ignored.

But I am also paranoid. So thanks for the advice! I should probably bring them, so that I won't need them. Since I just know that if I only brought sandals, it would snow the entire time. ;)

I would, if I were you. I'm going to be in New York next week, and I'm not expecting to wear anything other than sneakers or boots... We do tend to have whiplash like that though, I'll admit. In Michigan, too.

This reads like Parron, not Sirea, so I will reply accordingly. ;) I'm here for a conference. I'm in NYC right now, but only for basically a day. Going to Baltimore Thursday morning, flying out of DC Sunday night. I have the feeling this has come up in my LJ a few times now, but maybe not? Or maybe SOMEONE is feeling out of the loop because SOMEONE hasn't been on IM lately? ;) But, yeah, my time is pretty structured this time around so I didn't want to try and plan much else. Hopefully I'll have more leisure the next time I get out here, which might be this summer maybe? I'll keep the flist posted.

I spent so much time dictating to Sirea what she should write that she just threw the laptop at me to do myself. She was worried you'd think it was really her talking, but I assured her that if the capslock didn't do it, the "Kayj" would be a dead giveaway.

OH WAIT I'M IGNORING YOU.

Anyway, I'm holding off on the AIM/LJ front until after I have a laptop of my own again. ;) i.e: t.o.m.o.r.r.o.w.
