anzubird's apartment, or walking down the street in Astoria with amybang to pick up real, actual bagels for breakfast. Just to know that I'm here, in the city. Later today we head into Manhattan for lunch at the Met, general hanging out, and then: Spamalot! Totally excited about that one; I haven't seen a Broadway show in over ten years. Love it, love it.
So I did bring the shoes. But today I am happily wearing the red sandals. Hopefully I'm carting around the shoes for nothing.
