Kurt Vonnegut dies at age 84

The only book of his that I really truly loved was Cat's Cradle, but I call myself a fan anyway. He was on The Daily Show a couple of months back. You could see him fading physically, but the mind was still there. And the language. And the anger. I found it inspiring.

He will be missed.

My dad was a friend of his :( I think I met him a few times when I was a kid, but I don't remember. That's very sad.

I'm sad, too. Of course, my fondest memory of him is his cameo in Rodney Dangerfield's "Back to School" but it's still a fine memory.
