New desk woo! And the weekend.
They moved me this afternoon. The previous occupant of this desk (my old boss) was the packrat to end all packrats, so I have a lot of work yet to do before I can really settle in. It's been quite the archaeological expedition. Yesterday, as I was going through drawers, I found an old date stamp. The most recent year on the stamp was 1999. My former boss didn't even work here in 1999. Fun stuff.
No big plans tonight, but tomorrow I'm heading up north to spend a day with my parents and then to meet
muggy_mountain! Very exciting. I don't often get escapes to the countryside so this will be nice.
