Almost, but not quite

Barack Obama is speaking at a venue about two blocks from here. In like 10 minutes.

And it's too late for me to make arrangements to get away to go see him.

Arrrrrrgh...

Hillary Clinton will be here later this month and S and I are already plotting. It would be great to see the triumvirate. So hopefully he'll be back. Like S said when I expressed my regrets, it's a long campaign cycle.

Still vacillating, eh? And I would just bet that you will not even give good ol' Fred Thompson a chance.

It is really hard to settle on a candidate this time. I cannot think when our party has had so deep a bench. What a luxury! ;)

Yeah, it's a nice change from the last few cycles. No matter who we nominate, it will be someone tolerable. So you're also still not sure which horse to back?

Poor Fred, lost my vote before he's even had a chance to court it. ;)

Yes, I am still playing hard to get. It is so very strange having a selection of goodies. Sort of like a really elaborate dessert cart. ;)

I have been hearing rumours that is is the 'little mermaid' not ol' Fred who is the one hot for the Oval Office. Her problem is everyone around him seems to hate her. Two more top staffers resigned yesterday. Just what we need - another Ronald/Nancy Reagan set.
