Well, this would put something of a kink in your research plans...
In other professional librarian adventures, I've just spent the last three days trying to order some textbooks for a class that starts on Monday. No one could find the ISBN for the book; it simply wasn't in the system, even though our representative assured us that we had the correct one. After being passed around to half a dozen people in our corporate office and at the publishing company, I finally got in touch with the right person this afternoon.
There was a typo in the ISBN. One number off. I almost had a stroke when I realized. All this running around and stress over a freakin' typo?
