I took a nap this afternoon, and read the article without first waking up. I was reading it aloud to Raymond with incredulity in my voice, when he started laughing loudly. He now is a huge fan of The Watley Review.
I wasn't familiar with the Watley Review before this either. I had my suspicions, given the author's name of "Mary Sue", but it was "S. O'Crates, from the University of Phaedrus" that was the real satire tip-off for me. :)
I'll have to take a closer look at this publication, it looks like a trip.
