Normally I count on Panera to be a nice, relaxing place to kick back with some coffee and the Internet before heading in to work the late shift. Have a souffle, maybe a bagel, catch up on Salon, get some writing done.
That doesn't work so well when they're installing something in the kitchen with a jackhammer.
