Another take on the questions meme

Seven Questions Meme! Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] friede.

Not just any seven questions though, no; to keep it interesting, seven questions as per below - just copy and paste the following, replace the blanks with something you want to know/ask (e.g. 3. Donkeys or sandcastles and why?), anything you want, personal, silly, surreal or deep, comment away and I'll answer honestly as I can! Then post this in your own LJ and see what kind of things people want to ask you! (If you feel like it, that is.)

1. What do you think of ________________?
2. When did you last ____________?
3. __________ or ___________ and why?
4. What did you ______________?
5. What's your favourite ______________?
6. How would you ______________?
7. Who would you most like to _____________?

Silly, serious, or completely random: all takes on this are welcomed.

1. babies?

3. Owl or Moose

5. dress sphere?

7. Wiki?

1. I've never been all that crazy about them. I much prefer kids when they're a little older and can communicate with you.
2. Lunch yesterday, to drink my soda.
3. Moose. I love owls but my moose connection is a little more personal.
4. Most recently? I asked T how his work project is going.
5. Alchemist. I like that it can be used both offensively and defensively.
6. I'd be tempted to revisit the past to fix all the mistakes I've made in my life, but then who knows how that might screw up my present? And that's not something I'd want to risk. So I'd go into the future -- not my future, but the far world's future. Is it more Star Trek or more Blade Runner? That's one of the disappointing things about not being immortal, not knowing how the human story is going to turn out in the end.
7. Editing Wikipedia is one of those online projects that's never really appealed to me. I guess the closest I've ever come to that sort of thing was at the dotcom, where I added sites to a directory, and I built what I still believe was the definitive collection of sites on architectural and urban theory. So maybe some of the folks in there: Jane Jacobs, William Whyte, the New Urbanists, folks like that.

1. horses
2. sing
3. Final Fantasy X or X-2?
4. read last week
5. band or singer
6. introduce yourself
7. meet (I'm talking celebrities, here)

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2008-03-06 08:06 am (UTC)(link)
1. As with babies, I've never been much of a horse person. Maybe even less so. Some of them are pretty, but only from a distance. I've ridden twice and didn't like it at all.
2. Sing-along to They Might Be Giants when I drove home from chorus last week.
3. Much as I enjoyed X-2, and fondly as I consider it the thing that brought me into fandom, in the end I think FFX is a better game, and so far it remains my favorite game of all time.
4. I was pretty much stuck on The Once and Future King all week.
5. They Might Be Giants, Barenaked Ladies, and Sting.
6. Depends on the context: library director, librarian, writer, Internet addict, T's wife...
7. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

I definitely agree with you about X and X-2 - I loved X-2, but X was my favorite video game ever.

Also, Barenaked Ladies rule. ^^

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2008-03-07 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
Have you ever seen them live? They put on one of the best shows in the business.

[identity profile] dior-anghel.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Unfortunately, no, I have not. But when they come here, I AM SO GOING.

I did however go to Michael Buble's concert, and as much as I love the Barenaked Ladies, I'm pretty sure nothing beats Michael's shows. *swoons*

I'm very excited because I'm also going to a Rascal Flatts concert soon! =D

1. What do you think of healing buttsex?
2. When did you last ride a bike?
3. Auron/Rikku or Nooj/Beclem and why?
4. What did you get for your birthday OMG?
5. What's your favourite flavor of popsicle?
6. How would you react if you discovered that radioactive aliens were taking over your city in the name of Zogron?
7. Who would you most like to co-author an awesome story featuring Paine and Nooj and ecogeekry with? (Hint? I have no clue what you're talking about.)

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2008-03-06 08:30 am (UTC)(link)
1. Not that I've read *that* much slash, but I have to admit, I've yet to find a healing buttsex story that convinced me.
2. Not counting exercise bikes? It has to have been before I moved to SF, which was 8 years ago, so longer ago than that. Maybe even a decade.
3. We know Nooj and Beclem knew each other in canon, they're of an appropriate age, and there's something about their personalities that could well mesh. Unfortunately, Nooj is always pretty much straight in my head. But I'm going to vote Nooj/Beclem anyway.
4. Some awesome fic! A birthday cake! A virtual mix tape! A tasty tasty lunch! Material stuff, eh. This is what matters.
5. Lemon lime. But really, I'd rather have a tuna fish sandwich.
6. Run for my life, and then be REALLY REALLY SAD. Poor San Francisco. :(
7. Gee, I don't know what you're talking about either. ;D

[identity profile] first-seventhe.livejournal.com 2008-03-06 03:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

1. What do you think of CATS?
2. When did you last read fanfic? (and what was it? mwa ha ha)
3. Coffee or tea and why?
4. What did you do in the past week which was awesome ?
5. What's your favourite color! ?
6. How would you waste 10 minutes on the Internet?
7. Who would you most like to dress as a Songstress: Braska, Jecht, or Auron (alternates also welcome) ?

[identity profile] owlmoose.livejournal.com 2008-03-06 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks!! :)

1. Cats are awesome. They are cute and pettable and such a joy to have around. Cats are one of the pleasures that make life worth living.
2. Yesterday afternoon. The story was [livejournal.com profile] muggy_mountain's excellent ficbit about Yuna and Kinoc.
3. I really enjoy a good cup of coffee, and these days my first morning beverage is usually a latte, but overall I think I prefer tea -- there are a world of varieties to try, and drinking it makes me feel very civilized.
4. That's a hard call, because this was actually a pretty good week. But I guess I have to pick Sunday afternoon's trip to dim sum and walk along the San Francisco Bay afterwards (to celebrate another friend's birthday).
5. Blue.
6. a) Check my friendslist. b) Look at my LJ communities. c) Quick look at http://www.sfgate.com/ to see what's going on in the world. d) Glance at Fandom Wank to see what has the Internets going wild this time. e) Look up and realize that half an hour has passed.
7. That's an even harder question than coffee vs. tea! ;) But I pick Braska, because then we'd get to find out what he *really* looks like under those huge heavy robes....
