Yep, that's what it was -- somehow Firefox got installed on my machine twice, and the second one got launched this morning. I quit the program, then reopened by clicking through folders on the C: Drive to get to the .exe file, and it opened with all the expected settings/bookmarks/cookies/etc. Who knows why. PCs confuse me.
