My ff_exchange gift is now posted, and it's just about the last thing in the world I was expecting.

Paine/Nooj. Epic. By bottle_of_shine, who just spent the last month and a half misleading me into thinking that she was writing an FFVIII story. (Very effectively, I might add, and I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for her not to spill these particular beans. Congratulations, Nay, it worked. You can breathe now...)

I've gotten in the slutty habit of reading batches of good fanfic to help my sluggish muse wake up, so I may be reading this in bits and snatches for the next few days as I attempt to finish the Paine/Nooj chunk of my current epic!chapter.

Question. CS4 = Crimson Squad foursome?

There are tons of tasty stories over in that community right now. Lots of FFX requests this time around for some reason. (It's kind of funny that I somehow ended up writing FFXII instead.) Definitely worth checking out, especially if you're looking for a distraction.

And yes, CS4 = the four members of the Crimson Squad. As differentiated from the CS3, which is sometimes used to refer to just the guys.
